mount usb to /media

  1. Better; su root
  2. .ls /dev; without usbstick
  3. .ls /dev; with usbstick connected
  4. compare 2. and 3.
  5. select the extra one possibly having number at the end; e.g. sdb1
  6. mount -t vfat /dev/sdb1 /media ; you may not need option -t vfat; you may not need to be root.
  7. you will see usb stick on filemanager
  8. you ca unmount it on filemanager.
