- On another machine, download the package from Debian site.
- Xfer it using usb stick to ~/temp
- ‘dpkg -i’ may suffer some trouble, ‘gdebi’ runs more smoothly, although you may be asked debian cdrom (actually install DVD).

wifi firmware on PCI on debian-oldKiyoshi (1)
from dmesg information:
visit http://wireless.kernel.org/en/usersDrivers/b43#devicefirmware
-> http://linuxwireless.sipsolutions.net/en/users/Drivers/b43/
->
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/bcm43xx#b43legacy_driver_.28Open-source.29
-> download
http://downloads.openwrt.org/sources/wl_apsta-3.130.20.0.o
download and install
b43-fwcutter package
then:
sudo b43-fwcutter -w /lib/firmware wl_apsta-3.130.20.0.o
Firmware installed O.K.
but: b43legacy phy0 error PHY transmission error
wlan0 never worked.
Actually, it is working intermittently; ping 192.168.0. gets response intermittently.
Then from debian formal site (contrib)
https://packages.debian.org/stretch/firmware-b43legacy-installer
Download and xfer to debian; gdebi failed because of no internet connection. But seemingly, it will follows the same action above.
Files can be found: /usr/share/doc/firmware-b43legacy-installer.
Didn’t try further.

WP migration from localhost/kblog to nakym2.tokyoguide-noriko.net
The following is not the actual process performed, rather organized or cleaned process.
1. Open new subdomain nakym2.tokyoguide-noriko.net
1.1 login to lolipop:
1.2 make subdomain: nakym2.tokyoguide-noriko.net
1.3 WP簡単インストール:
2. The following process is performed by FFFTP preferably on oldKiyoshi.
Source means 192.168.0.17/kblog/, target means nakym2.tokyoguide-noriko.net/.
2.1 In target: rename: wp-content -> wp-content.nakym2.org, wp-config.php->wp-config.php.nakym2.org
2.2 Copy wp-content, of source to target /. ( first download to local then upload to target)
2.3 download wp-config.php from source -> rename wp-config.org.php
2.4 download wp-config.nakym2.org ->rename to wp-config.php
2.5 Rewrite wp-config.php: change database prefix to the original source one; upload to target.
2.6 upload murasecret (better) or knsecret to target /
2.7 export database from source and import to target.
2.8 visit murasecret or knsecret at target site and perform necessary procedure.
2.9 Done!
chown
chown kiyoshi:kiyoshi file
change owner and group of file
better be root
Debian9.9.0 on old kiyoshi (NEC)
i386 boot dvd failed.
Then using rufus, burn dd the same iso image on usb.
USB boot goes smoothly. That means iso file is flawless but dvd drive on old kiyoshi is probably not good enough.
Chose english in install process, select area other ->asia ->japan. This way makes english name for default folders etc. This is important!!
Chose all the software to install.
Chose to use biggest free partition; separate /,var,home partitions.
Ould not supply firmware file in the install process. Probably the file is still in firmware-b43legacy-installer.deb in supplied usb stick root.

Dual boot debian stretch on oldKiyoshi win xp
- prepare debian bootable usb.
- Windows 管理ツール→コンピュータの管理→ディスクの管理
- Windows(©:)右クリック
- →領域を縮小(日本語(英語も?)分かりにくい):縮小量100GB:実際には97.66GBの未設定領域が作られた。finish?して
- 未設定領域を右クリック→simple volume ウィザード→ドライブF:が作成される
- resize and make simple volume debian 90GB
- Because deian installer is so good at disk partitioning, I chose leave everything to it, so that I removed the debian volume leaving 87.89GB unallocated disk partiion.
- Increas winC volume, leaving 78.13GB freespace.
